Awesome... Still no eat in yet due to Coronavirus.. But it ok being food home

Hot dogs are good but im a big fan of cherry pop

My dads friend from VA told he loves this place and I definitely know why. It's a great atmosphere with amazing food. And way more for your buck than anywhere I've ever been. Service was great and staff was super friendly. Definitely will be going back soon

My parents used to come to the Hot Dog Shoppe over 50 years ago and I continue to stop here when in town from Illinois with my kids. Best. Hot. Dogs. Ever.

The hotdog shop wasn't what I remembered they used to have alot more choices for hot hotdogs

A must visit if you're in the area! Best hot dog sauce/chili ever! Super reasonable prices, the whole family can eat for a great deal. We visit almost everytime we are in Warren and buy sauce to bring home.

Messed order up .put onions on the fries and no onions on the hot dogs.and had a attitude

I've had it a handful of times. First couple times people have bought it and brought it over to the house, it was luke warm, fries were soggy and chili sauce not so good. I went with the wife and kids to hot dog shoppe, way better when its hot and fresh! Hot dogs with chili and cheese and fries with chili and cheese, I've changed my mind just when I thought there was no hope for this place. Gotta get it fresh off the grill and eat it there like everyone else in the parking lot! Great staff, good service. Its a busy place but worth it.

Hot Dog Shoppe is consistently good. We don't make it back to the area often but always a must stop. Talked to a guy from Atlanta home for holidays. He's already been there twice! Always fast, courteous service once seated.

Family fries topped with cheddar and chili. The strawberry milkshake is a MUST try...even for the chocolate lovers! Service is fast and food is good! Cheddar, chili, onion dog...GO!

Friendly and timely service. You can't beat what you're getting at those prices. Fun little spot with character.

Great place but not as good as it used to be.

This place is a throwback to an Era many individuals have forgotten about. It is rare to see a short line streaming out of their doors. In fact, if you try to get in during lunch or dinner you will be lucky to only spend 20 minutes or less in line. The inside of the shop is nicely renovated and it allows you to see how your food is being prepared. The prices are very affordable and the food is quite good however I gave it only for stars because there is nothing original on the menu and it was nothing a teenager couldn't prepare. Also, the fact that the wait times can be lengthy decreased their overall score. On top of that, there can be quite a bit of congestion with fellow customers who are waiting to pick up their food. Admittedly if you want to get a true sense of a Warren landmark Institution I highly encourage you visiting them for a good meal at an affordable price and very friendly staff.

They literally have the best hot dogs within 100 miles

Quick in and out for take out they aren't doing dine in yet. Only complaint is that they didn't put napkins in the bag

This place is an institution in Warren, Ohio, known far and wide as THE place to go for hot dogs. I've been coming here since I was a child back in the 60's and it's one of my "must go" places when I'm back in NE Ohio. Even though the original founder is gone, I was not disappointed: Same great dogs, same great fries, and the chili sauce (for the dogs) was as good as I remember it. If you've ever been there, you know what I'm talking about. If you've never been there, what are you waiting for? You need to try it. You won't regret it - I guarantee it! Higher than highly recommended!

Great place to eat. Friendly and courteous staff. Always busy but that's what you get when you sell great food.

The absolute best hot dog place I have ever been too! I absolutely love the sauce! The waitress was so nice, even tho she was absolutely busy, she found time to talk a bit, the food arrived super fast, which was unbelievable, and the price, it was so cheap I had to look twice at the final total. I thought it would have been way much more! This is my new place!❤️

The Hot Dog Shoppe is a nice spot for a quick lunch, or dinner. The atmosphere is open and friendly, the staff is extremely personable, and food is quickly made to order. My only disappointment was the hot dogs themselves. They’re not bad, but they’re not natural-casing franks, and they lack the snap of a good hot dog. 1 bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup, 2 Hot Dogs, (1 with Kraut and pickle, 1 with chili and onion), 1 Small French Fries, and 1 Medium Strawberry Shake was $9.65, including tax.

I am from the warren area and I used to go there all the time. I moved from the area 27 years ago and when I go back to visit I always stop there to eat the food and service is awesome. Everything is the same as always. The only thing that has changed is the wall paper. If you go you got to try their chil dogs they are the best around.

No place like home. The Warren hot dog shoppe in Warren ohio..a must go to place for fast fun and inexpensive way to feed. Makes me feel as if I'm back in the happy days. Jukeboxes..coca colas and floats. Are fun. Table service. Fast turnover. Chili dogs to die for and I promise the best fries you'll ever eat!! I have never heard of it, my wife and I passed and we turned around and came back in and it was delicious an inexpensive.

This the holy grail of hot dogs! This Warren Ohio classic hasn’t changed at all over the years - the only menu items that have been added are chicken soup & coleslaw. My favorite is dogs with sauce, cheddar, onions and put a little bit of their hot sauce on it. A Family Fry is a must & they’ve got Cherry Fanta™️ on tap. An absolute must & a clear winner vs Jib Jab hot dog ship in Girard.

Been going here for years & still just as good! My only complaint is their lack of sweet tea. Definitely needs to be added to the menu -Lol- ;) Take the kids they'll love every bite & so will you!

Seven days a week without a hot dog makes one "weak." What a great slogan. The prices are incredibly reasonable the food is delicious. You must try the cherry soda. Also, get some fries with those hot dogs. I have been visiting this place for 20 years and the quality and taste have been consistent. This is a highly recommended for anybody coming to the area.

Very busy! Wait by wall for place to sit. Felt like a wallflower.Coney sauce was runny, no meat was noticable. Prices are exceptionally outstanding!Friendly staff.French fries were perfect, made on-site?

Okay, so somebody tell me why I love this place so much that every time I go to Warren, I have to have lunch here. Maybe it's because it really is a step back into the 1950's. Food is great and cheap.

I grew up in this area. Today's visit was the first back in over 12 years and they still have it right!! Not an overly elaborate menu - straight, to the point, and done in one menu section. Still the best I've had to date. Keep it up and don't change a thing!!

It's the place where everyone stops at! Great hot dogs and burgers just the way you want it. The heart of the past in the present! It's a stop you need to make!

We love you!!! Came from Arizona on a trip to visit our family, and had to make a stop. It was my moms favorite place, so when we are in town visiting we always stop. We had to tailgate in the parking lot due to COVID, then on got drenched by the rain..but it was sooooo worth it!

It had been 5 months of intense physical therapy after my tragic foray into spear fishing. I was finally ready hit the town again. Of course I went to Warren, Ohio the nation's premier location for underground ball room dance battling. I spin and dipped ever so gracefully. Oh, the fools who witnessed me that night must have thought the Greek gods of legend had descended onto the mortal plane. After stunning the locals with my dance moves I went to the Hot Dog Shoppe. I order the chilli dog and it was sheer ambrosia. I refused to order the fries out of protest of the word shop being spelled wrong but the chilli dog warranted 5 stars.

This place is definitely better when hot. Only problem I had was the chili cheese dog didmt have actually chili in it. But other than that, 5 stars
